Warrant Officer George Frederick John James who served with various Squadrons as a wireless operator/Air gunner during world war 2 including 487 Squadron, 98 Squadron based at Dunsford and 180 Squadron. One of his crew members was a W/O Pilkingron who was a pilot. After the war he was stationed at RAF Benson and Abingdon. He
was also one of the crew who was at the 'A' Bombs tests in Maralinga, Australia in the early 50's

Anthony Thompson, on behalf of his father, is seeking any information in regard to his late father 807161 Thomas Thompson who was reported killed in action along with the rest of his crew when their Lancaster I serial W4166 from 61 Squadron took off at 1945 on the evening of 19/09/1942 from RAF Syerston on Ops to Munich.
