Margaret Simpson is seeking anyone who may remember her Brother or the rest of his crew 1066641 Flight Sergeant (Pilot) Albert Peter Bates (Bert or Al) who was reported killed in action when his Wellington HF596 from 166 Squadron based at RAF Kirmington was believed to have crashed at sea whilst mine laying off the Frisian Islands on 16/08/1943.

F/Sgnt Albert Peter Bates did his flight training in Rhodesia . His brother Walter G.Bates (Wally) was an Air Gunner flying Lancasters with the 630 Squadron out of East Kirby

Terence Coble is seeking any information in regard to his Brother 52756 Pilot Officer (Pilot) Percy Sidney Coble who was reported killed on active service on 23/12/1943. It is believed he was serving at the time with 3(P) A.F.U 23GRP and the aircraft crashed around the Oxford Area.

Don Howe is seeking any information or anyone who may have known his Father Flying Officer (Nav.) Jack Howe, who along with the rest of his crew was reported killed in action when Lancaster I Serial DV387 code AS-W from 166 Squadron took off at 1720 on the evening of 26/11/43 from RAF Kirmington on Ops to Berlin (see details below) and due to enemy action crashed near Monchengladbach.

Susan Osborn is seeking any information, or anyone who may have known her Uncle Sergeant (Flt. Engr.) Albert James Osborn who along with 5 other members of his crew was reported killed in action when
Lancaster III serial JB526 code DX-D from 57 Squadron took off from RAF East Kirby at 2300 on the evening of 21/06/1944 on Ops to Wesseling and was intercepted by a night fighter and crashed 1km NW of the small town of Koslar,.
