Steve Harris has had a request from a Mrs. Norah Mather regarding her brother 1548854 Leading Aircraftman William Vincent Edmondson who was an RAF Trainee Pilot serving at 33 EFTS Caron Saskatchewan during 1942 and was unfortunately killed in an air accident in Caron on.06/01/1943.
Steve is looking to see if anyone remembers LAC Edmondson or perhaps the circumstances surrounding his death.

John Jackson is seeking information in regard to his Uncle 746821 Sergeant (W.Op./Air Gnr.) James Joseph Jackson who was reported killed in action when his Hampden I serial X2988 Code PL- from 144 Squadron took off from RAF Hemswell on 16/17.10.1940 on Ops to Merseburg and on its return journey ran out of fuel and the crew bailed out near near Gt Massingham Nfk. The other crew members managed to survive but unfortunately were themselves reported killed in action on 01/11/1940 on Ops to Berlin when their Hampden I serial X2915 code PL- was reported lost without trace.

Campbell Murray is seeking anyone who may remember his father 1822582 Flight Sergeant (mid upper Gunner) Thomas Young Murray who trained at 1663 Conversion Unit, RAF Rufforth.and was then posted to 640 Squadron, RAF Leconfield. On 24th May 1944 he along with the rest of his crew took off from RAF Leconfield at 2304 on Ops to Aachen and just short of the target area, over Holland. the aircraft was hit by flak. Badly damaged and on fire. Sgt. Jock Campbell and Sgt Tom Murray baled out at 16,000 feet. Unfortunately the rest of the crew were reported killed in action when the aircraft crashed t Susterseel some 12 Kilometres West North West of
Geilenkirchen .

Kenneth William Hopkinson who along with the rest of his crew were reported killed in action when their Blenheim IV serial Z7499 Code XD- from 139 Squadron took off from RAF Oulton at 1324 on 20.07.1941 on Anti Shipping operations and was hit by Flak and crashed into the sea off le Touquet

John McMillan is interested in finding out if anyone from 10 Squadron remembers his father,
1551039 Flight Sergeant (B/A) John McMillan , who briefly flew with the squadron in late 1943. He Arrived at RAF Melbourn: on 20/9/1943 and participated in ops over Hannover, Bochum and Kassel before being reported killed in action along with the rest of his crew when their Halifax II serial JD146 code ZA-W took off at 1646 on 22/23.11.1943 on Ops to Berlin and was reported lost without trace.

| Bob Hornby is trying to trace Gilbert (Dutch) Holland, Dutch was for a long period of time in the late 40's the only Master Air Gunner in the RAF. Dutch Flew in Lincoln KC-M on 617 Squadrons Goodwill Mission to the USA/Canada July/Sept 1947, Bob was also a member of that mission.Dutch Holland's Service No:- 519546. Several of his old Air Force colleagues have asked Bob to try to trace Dutch, on their behalf, and from his point of view, to let him know that he has now completed the history of that Goodwill Tour, 125 A4 pages long, and has traced so far 14 survivors of that tour.
