Tony Penn is interested in finding more information in regard to his Cousin 186232 Pilot Officer (Nav.) Maurice Joseph Thain. Who, along with the rest of his crew were reported killed in action when their Lancaster I serial NF937 Code WS-E from 9 Squadron took off from RAF Bardney at 0747 on 14/02/1945 on Ops to Altenbeken and due to enemy action crashed at Sasserath.
the other crew members were as follows:

Bernard Simmons who was a rear gunner with 178 Squadron during 1944 would like to contact any of his olf crew members who were as follows: Skipper K Mcfarland , radio op Roy Oakley, navigator Roy Dent , mid upper gunner Danny Perfect bomb aimer ?Huxley, flight engineer Pete ?.

David Luff is seeking any information in regard to 1391268 Sergeant Kevin Desmond Ennis who was reported killed in action on 06/09/1943 whilst whilst piloting a Beaufighter with 143 Squadron in an attack on Northern France.  He lived at 33 Stevens Road , Dagenham, Essex and had a half-sister named Oonagh who would now be in her late seventies.
David would also like to contact the relatives of Flight Sergeant (Nav.) Aubrey Aubrey Cowling Powell who was one of the other members of the crew

Lester Stenner is seeking the whereabouts of Ft/Sgt Gilbert Howarth who flew with 50 Squadron,106 Squadron and 207 Squadron, mainly from RAF Waddington,
RAF Skellingthorpe, RAF Coningsby and RAF Upper Heyford. He was a W/op/gnr on Hampdens, flying many missions with Wing Commander C. D Stenner, DSO, DFC.

Benignus Stefan (Ben)

Frank Goddard, on behalf of friends is trying to locate the name of the Officer Commanding at RAF Hawarden in May 1942. 87624 Flight Lieutenant (Pilot) Benignus (Ben) Stefan was stationed at RAF Hawarden at that time and was involved in a flying accident. Unfortunately he was reported killed in action over France whilst piloting a Spitfire Vb serial AR547 with 313 (Czech) Sqdn. on 08/03/1943
His family are hoping to piece together as much information they can about Ben and his service with 310 and 313 Squadrons plus his time in training.

R J Mitchell is seeking information in regard to 1429987 Flight Sergeant (W.Op./Air Gnr.) Corbyn James Trott who is belived to be the person in the attached photo. F/S Trott was reported killed in action along with the rest of his crew when their Galifax III serial LW644 Code MP-O from 76 Squadron took off from RAF Holme on Spalding Moor at 2212 on 12/13.06.1944 on Ops to bomb rail facilities at Amiens and due to enmey action
crahsed near Authieux-Ratieville {Seine-Maritime}

Mervyn Milliken is seeking any information in regard to his Father 1902262 FLT SGT M.F.Milliken ( Wop/air.) Unfortunately Mervyn has very little information about his Father's time in the RAF, other than he served at RAF Madley from 28 July 1944 at 4 R.S

Pilot Officer Bob Ladbury who served in the RAF during WWII would like to contact two of his crew members
Pilot Officer Ken Bones who was the wireless operator and who lived somewhere in London, and
Sergeant Ted Dawson the Flight Engineer who lived at Gateshead on Tyneside.
they all served together with 460 Sqdn. 12 Base SDF and 100 Sqdn. at RAF Waltham.
