took off from RAF Dishforth at 2229 on the evening of 07/11/1941 on Ops to Berlin and crashed near Bierum Holland.

Olaf Timmermann is seeking any information in regard to Pilot Officer Wallace Devereux who was shot down 40 km west of Helgoland on 28th August 1942. Olaf believed the airctaft was a Spitfire PR IV Serial: AB422 from 1 PRU. Pilot Officer Dewereox managed to bail out and was picked up by a German air sea rescue plan and taken to Norderney as a POW.

Dave Southwood would like to find anyone who may remember his Uncle 1895703 Sergeant (Air Gnr.) Keith Southwood DFM who flew over 20 Ops with 625 Squadron at RAF Kelstern between 7th Sept 1944 and 29th Nov 1944, before being wounded in the right eye, and then withdrawn from Air Crew Duties.

His son Dave Frost believes that he may have been involved with the following detachment of six Spitfires from 81 (F) Squadron which were based at Broadway when the Japanese attacked the landing strip.
