Mark is seeking any information in regard to his Great Uncle 617853 Sergeant (Flt. Engr.) Eric Denis Booty who joined 149 Squadron from 1651 HCU and was reported killed in action along with the rest of his crew on 17/09/42.

Richard Henry Bunker (Dickie)

Tony Bunker is seeking anyone who may remember his Father, Wing Commander 40668 Richard Henry Bunker (Dickie) DSO DFC and Bar , especially whilst he was with 83 Squadron at RAF Scampton. He joined the RAF in 1938 and was posted to RAF Thornaby with 185 Squadron and then with them to Scampton where he joined Guy Gibson. From 83 Squadron he went to Canada to train pilots and on return to England was posted to 9 Squadron as flight Commander, leading a raid on

Pennemunde from RAF Bardney. The Pathfinder leader being John Searby . In 1944 he went to 620 Squadron at Fairford leading a troop drop at Arnhem . In October 1944 he was posted to 190 Squadron at Great Dunmow as Commanding Officer and in April 1945 he along with the rest of crew were reported killed in action when their Stirling crashed near Windlesham.

Mowbray Norman Stokes

Tara Dickens is seeking anyone who may remember her Grandfather 1168877 Sergeant (W.Op) Mowbray Norman Stokes who started flying with 455 Squadron squadron on the 10.10.41 until 07.11.41 when he, along with the rest of his crew were taken POW whilst on a Patrol with 455 Squadron out of RAF Swinderby
the other crew members were as follows

Tim Salter is seeking any information in regard to his great Uncle 1895713 Sergeant (Air Gnr.) Joseph William Shelton (Joey) who along with 3 other members of his crew were reported killed in action whilst on Ops with 115 Squadron on 29/01/1944

Edward Hughes

Bob Hughes is seeking any information about his Father 98506 Edward Hughes who was from Glasgow Scotland. Unfortunately Bob has very little information about his fathers time spent in the RAF during World War 2. other than he was as a sergeant Air Gunner and was with 190 Squadron for at least part of the war. His pilot was Brian Bebarfald who was killed in Sept 1944 when the plane was shot down.
The co-pilot was named Malcolm Yarwood
Edward joined 297 Squadron on 1 July 1943 in Hants and then later the crew joined the 190 squadron  at Leicester East and later Fairford Perhaps you may have served with Edward Hughes ? If you remember him then Bob would like to hear from you and an be contacted at the email address below

James Hughes Kirton (Jim)

James Christian is seeking any information in regard to his Grandfather 41771 Squadron Leader (Pilot) James Hughes Kirton (Jim) who served in the RAF during World War 2 as Bomber Pilot. He was at one time stationed at Nakuru in Kenya as well as in Egypt and was unfortunately reported killed in action on 27/01/1944 along with the rest of his crew when their Wellington I serial HZ484 from 84 OTU took off from RAF Desborough at 1855 on an evening cross country exercise and crashed at 2245 near Manor House, Arthingworth near Nottingham.
The Other crew members who were also reported killed in action were

1346229 Sergeant (W.Op./Air Gnr.) John Orr
