Iain Potts is seeking anyone who may have known his Grandfather Flight Lieutenant (Pilot) William McTurk who was taken Prisoner of war along with 2 other members of his crew whilst on Ops to Leipzig whilst flying with 35 Squadron and was taken to Stalag Luft L3 where he remained until the end of the war when, while being force marched to Berlin, was liberated by the Soviet army.

Mike Bunn is seeking any information in regard to 1661967 James Bunn who was a pilot during World War 2, Unfortunately Mike has very little inofmation in regard to his his fathers time spent in the RAF during WWII other than he joined the raf in 1938/9 and was demobed 1946 and flew Hurricanes, Spitfires during the Battle of Britain, rocket-firing Typhoons over Europe and finished by flying Sunderland flying boats in the Pacific.

Bill Ringrose is seeking any photos of the aircraft his uncle Dennis Ringrose was on. The Aircraft crashed near Walton-on-the Naze March 5th-6th 1944. There is a Memorial erected to the crew made by the young Cadets in 1975 with the Propellers from the plane. The crew were as follows

Sheila Byrne is seeking any information in regard to 978403 Sergeant (Air Gnr) Austin Southwell Marshall who went to 2 Signals School Yatesbury and was then posted to Dumfries . He was involved in a night patrol off Brest on 10-4-41. Unfortunatly he was reported killed in action along with the rest of crew whilst on anti submarine Patrol on 22/06/1941.

Sean Devaney recently bought a 57 squadron shield that had been made specially
for Sergeant Raymond Hedley Wright.who was a bomber aimer flying in DX-B which was lost on the night of 22nd/23rd May 1944 on an operation to Braunsschweig out of East Kirby. Sean is looking to present the shield to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby as a memorial to the Raymond and his crew and would very much like to trace any surviving friends/relatives of Raymond and his crew in order to learn about them, the history behind the shield, and to obtain their permission to prepare a memorial.
